Boat Sharing at WVYC

Alternative options for getting out on the water

While the Club has a focus on cruising, racing, outstations, and learning to sail for all ages, we also have several other ways for Members (and guests and family Members) to get out on the water. If you don't own a boat (or even if you do), you can enjoy the Club's offering of kayaks, stand-up paddle boards (SUPs), J22 keel boats, Whalers and a C&C 27.

How to participate and book:

  • Kayaks and SUPs
Accessible for all Members - no qualifications required. The Club's fleet of kayaks and SUPs can be booked using a simple online system.

  • J22 keel boats, Whalers or the C&C 27 (Bravado)
Accessible to Active, Associate, Honorary Life, Senior, Intermediate, and Non-Resident Members - boating qualifications are required. Once eligible Members are approved for the program, they will be given access to the online booking system. Qualifying Members can sign up annually to share use of these vessels, and our online booking system allows Members to plan boating excursions, weekends or vacations in advance.
