RACE TO HONOLULU ABOARD WVYC’s LONGBOARD AND SHADOW IN THE 50th ANNIVERSARY TRANS PAC

Join Skippers Peter McCarthy and Peter Salusbury to experience this summer's 50th anniversary Trans Pac race from Los Angeles to Honolulu. They will share their respective strategies in preparing for the race including boat preparation, crew selection, and delivery planning as well as share photos and videos of the race itself.
Always a classic “sleigh ride”, this years Trans Pac was a fast race for the smaller boats that started earlier than the “big guys”. LONGBOARD established a new elapsed time record for boats under 36 feet of 9 days 10 hours and 47 minutes. You can be sure there will be some action packed photos and video captured along the way! The two Skippers are both veterans of the Vic Maui race and they will compare experiences.

Happy Hour at 6:30 pm, Dinner served at 7:00 pm
