Ever wanted to know more about plotting a course or using charts? WVYC Coastal navigation evening classes start on Monday, October  19th. The course is two evenings a week for three weeks. You will learn how to plot fixes, predict your next position, incorporate current/drift into route planning and learn more about buoys and lights. You will need to put some time aside each week for homework as you need to practice chartwork to build accuracy and there is a bit of math too. But, this will give you confidence in cruising around the BC coast. 

Starts October 19, 2015. Space is limited, register early!
