Racing at WVYC: WES Volunteers
Volunteerism is the backbone of WVYC and its programs. Racing is not an exception. We need your help to put on our signature events that place us at the top. WES is a perfect time to learn and hone your race management skills so that you can assist our larger events like Southern Straits, Howe Sound Regatta and Pumpkin Bowl.
Below is the WES schedule.
Please report to the crane on the West side of the clubhouse at 4:45 pm and bring your gear and a lifejacket.
The following options are available:
1. If registered for the full series, boats to supply 2 crew over the 5 series.
2. If registered for a single series, boats to supply 1 crew per series raced.
3. Pay an additional fee equal to the race fees for their series registered.

Boats failing to exercise one of these options will not be scored at the end of the series. If you do not sign up for a specific date, you will be assigned one. It is the Skipper’s responsibility to supply a volunteer on that date or be disqualified. Please email
