New for 2015, the Southern Straits Race Safety Committee is pleased to offer a limited number of Pre-Race Safety Inspections at the Fishermans Cove Marine Fuel dock located at the entrance to Fisherman’s Cove, West Vancouver. Skippers who request early inspection will need to sign an acknowledgement that all equipment at the time of inspection will be on board during the race, and any inspection or failure to inspect any items does not alter the Skipper’s obligation for the safety of his/her vessel and crew. Further, a pass of the safety inspection does not constitute any endorsement that the vessel is safe or operating to any given standard.
